Perspective

Nearly six million people see the one mile deep Grand Canyon each year. A much smaller number of people see the Canyon from the North Rim. The North Rim rises a thousand feet higher than the South Rim, and is much less accessible. The Rim to Rim hike is 23.9 miles by foot across the Canyon by way of the North Kaibab Trail and the Bright Angel Trail or the North and South Kaibab Trail (which is 21.3 miles). Less than 1% of the 6 million visitors hike Rim to Rim of the Grand Canyon.

The Magic of Rim to Rim

Less than 1% of all visitors to the Grand Canyon take on the Rim to Rim hike. This forum has been established for those explorers who have listened to their soul and wish to share their experience, adventure, and perspective. Whether it was on a bucket list, a challenge of mind versus body, or a simple hike through a canyon, for all it was surely a reminder that life is about the moments that take your breath away.
